Several MicroLogs were sold to an independent technical sports consultant firm who are checking the affects of temperature on athletes' performance for the Olympics. Here we were required to build a MicroLog inside a radiation shield with an external black bulb temperature in order to define the WBGT factor. The application defines in which temperature parameters people are able to do strenuous activity. If a temperature is too high then athletes must rest more. This will be used for monitoring the temperature on the grass of the Olympic field where the athletes are competing during the 2004 Athens Olympics.
