Current Product Line

The family of solutions for the industry market consists of two main products lines:

  1. The Datanet Line - Intelligent Zigbee Network data logging
  2. The MicroLog Line - Sensors and data loggers
  3. The Data Acquisition Line - Portable graphic data acquisition system

The DataNet Line

The DataNet is a 16-bit data logging system with 4 inputs for direct  measurement and recording of PT-100, thermocouple, voltage 4-20 mA, frequency and pulse. Data transmission from units to the central computer utilizes the brand new ZigBee wireless telemetry protocol.

ZigBee wireless protocol uses a 2.4GHz license free frequency RF Band. Each DataNet unit also serves as a transmission repeater to neighboring units, forming a reliable mesh network of up to 65,000 units.

 The MicroLog Line

For environmental parameters monitoring and recording, with wireless capabilities

Fourier provides compact portable data logging devices and accessories for advanced data acquisition (DA), communications and analysis, to the industrial market. Fourier's products are the ideal cost effective solution for ongoing data logging needs across a wide spectrum of industry, including food transportation, storage, air conditioning and ventilation, process automation, clean rooms, warehouses and galleries to name but a few.

Fourier, although being very “young” in this market, succeeded in satisfying a number of prominent customers including Nestle, Cadbury, Coca-Cola, Teva, Tnuva, Nokia, Honda and many more.

The MicroLite - small data logger for monitoring and recording temperature. MicroLite is the ultimate plug and record data logger. Despite the compact design MicroLite data is clearly displayed on the logger's numeric screen. In addition, the stored MicroLite data can be downloaded automatically to the MicroLab Lite software. The MicroLite has been dustproof and waterproof tested to meet highest market standards (IP 68). To further ensure easy global usage, the battery is easily replaceable since it is a standard model used worldwide.

The product is designed for ultimate application accessibility whether mobile or static. Typical applications for this product include transportation as well as warehousing of food, drugs and hi-tech equipment.

Fourier Industrial Products Opportunities

Opportunities

  • Growing regulatory demand for on line measurements and data logging, under different standards such as FDA and CFR
  • Due to cost and benefits, Wireless Network Sensors are expected to be part of almost every industrial and commercial application in the next decade
  • Massive growing use of data logging for better quality and control
  • Increasing automation (industrial processes, home automation) increases demand for sensors and DA
  • High growth forecast of wireless sensing and remote monitoring and control
  • No competitor has in house wireless capabilities. Using subcontractors will increase time to market and prices
  • Growing demand for low cost portable data acquisition systems for medium and lower segment applications
  • Established companies with wide range of products are looking for OEM suppliers of complimentary products
  • The market is used to catalogue purchasing (sensors and loggers)
  • Small competition in the medium and low-end data acquisition systems. The DaqPRO is actually the only complete hand held DA system available today. Thus there is an opportunity for market penetration

Strengths

  • Product advantages, as compared with competitor products at the same level. For both families, no competitor products can meet the full list of Fourier features. The DaqPRO is the only genuine complete DA portable system in its class
  • Innovative orientation will enable Fourier to maintain its product advantages, in spite of the low technological barriers
  • Prices - Fourier’s prices are lowest as compared with parallel competitor products. This is due to efficient operation and outsourced manufacturing
  • Industrial products R&D can knowledge-share the many years of experience educational products’ R&D. Thus reducing the ratio of R&D expenses for the industrial products
  • In house wireless experience - creates a major competitive advantage, shortening time to market and enabling the company to develop products with wireless capabilities for the data logger applications. This avoids using standard wireless products from third parties with many unnecessary features which raise costs
  • Wireless products early exposure - being pioneers in the wireless data loggers market has created contacts with leading customers in various industries including Coca Kola, Pepsi Kola, Nestle, Cadbury, Teva, Honda, Nokia
